This zinc and glass rainfall is an easy way to measure the rainfall in the garden, so that you can top up with a hose or watering can when necessary.
The glass vase is supported on a tall zinc pole with a pronged end. Simply push the end of the pole into the ground in the garden, allowing the rain to be caught in the glass container. The measurements on the side of the vase show the amount of rain caught.
The zinc rain gauge is a lovely gift for keen gardeners who wish to keep an eye on the amount of rain in their garden, or for interested children, or budding meteorologists.
