The Corten steel on the log store is 3mm thick.

The Powder coated steel 3mm thick and colour is black/grey RAL 7021.

Please note that Corten steel products are supplied in their un-rusted state, the natural weathering process will take around 4 months to complete. The products simply needs to be left outside for this to occur, nothing else is required.

Because of the nature of the produce, we would advise not sitting the log store on delicate or light paving until this process has taken place.

This natural fixed rust coating will provide protection against further corrosion and stabilises the finish. Corten steel is a steel alloy.

Unpack the log store immediately so any moisture between the packing and product is not sealed as this can can cause irregular rust stains as the fire bowl starts to weather.
