Italians love eating courgette flowers and this particular variety produces mainly male flowers on stalks and few fruits, so you will have numerous zucchini flowers for frying.
Use the flowers in Frittata Italian omelettes and they can also for stuffing with ricotta cheese and herbs.
To use in the kitchen simply wash gently, hold the crown and twist. The crown and stamen will come away in your fingers leaving the meaty flower to use... delicious!

Sow indoors from February to May in pots and containers.
Then put outdoors in vegetable bed or large container in late May /June when the soil and temperature have warmed up.
