This is a rustic yellow carrot variety from the beautiful French town of Doubs. Traditionally they were just foraged but now they are grown and prized for its culinary quality.
Pick when they are small and tender, wash and steam or roast with other root vegetables.
Easy to grow, sow thinly into the ground then thin as required when the first shoots appear.
Grow a row on onions near at the carrots to put off the nasty carrot fly.
Great for children to grow too... who'd have thought a carrot was yellow ;)

Sow from February - July and harvest till mid October.

PLEASE NOTE - Due to Brexit related restrictions on certain items, unfortunately, we cannot at present send our seeds or kits containing seeds outside of mainland UK, (including Northern Ireland) without incurring huge additional costs. Whilst items can be added to the basket, if there is a location we cannot send to you will be advised at the basket stage when your delivery location is identified. The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
