This is the classic hot Italian chill named after the fiery Mount Etna. This is an early variety, a compact plant which produces bunches of conical dark green fruits which grow upwards, turning bright red when ripe.
These chilli plants are ideal to be grown in containers on widow sills. This chilli was voted 9th hottest chilli by BBC Gardeners World TV in their 2006 Hottest Chilli trials.

The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
