A wonderful mix of 10 different edible pumpkin and squash varieties mixed together in the box consisting of summer and Autumn pumpkins
The pumpkin varieties include:
Marina of Chioggia ( The oldest variety in Italy). Padana (orange and grey from NW Italy) Lunga of Naples( Huge Pear shaped fruits) Berrettina Piacentina (Priest Hat or the Berret of Placenza). Quintale ( Tonne, can get very large)
The Squashes include:
Butternut Rugosa (Delicious orange flesh). Tromba d'Albenga (Dramtic curved meaty). Sicilian Snakes (Can grow to 2 metres!). Custard White ( UFO shaped fruit). Vegetable Spaghetti ( as it says Spaghetti like flesh).
You will need space for these but it is fun to grow them through a border which have less flowers in during the Autumn. Or trail the summer squash over arches and arbours.

Sow indoors from February to May in pots and containers.
Then put outdoors in vegetable bed or large container in late May /June when the soil and temperature have warmed up.

PLEASE NOTE - Due to Brexit related restrictions on certain items, unfortunately, we cannot at present send our seeds or kits containing seeds outside of mainland UK, (including Northern Ireland) without incurring huge additional costs. Whilst items can be added to the basket, if there is a location we cannot send to you will be advised at the basket stage when your delivery location is identified. The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
