This hand cultivator is ideally suited to easily remove weeds with long roots and aerate the soil at the same time. The hand cultivator has 3 long sharp tines which will pull through the soil pulling up weeds with log roots and at the same time turning the soil to allow aeration. With the pull motion the soil is overturned which improves aeration and during the push motion the overturned soil is broken up into smaller pieces.
Use the hand tool as well to mix compost or other fertilisers into the soil.

First clean the complete tool with linseed oil so the handle will keep its look and won’t dry out. This will also prevent dirt from sticking to the wood.
The stainless steel parts can also be treated with linseed oil. This way dirt will not stick to the tines of the cultivator.
Remember to clean your garden tools after use with a stiff brush and lightly oil as neccessary and finally store them somewhere dry.
