Only premium grade plantation-grown teak is used for the manufacture of Gloster furniture.
Used outdoors, natural teak will weather when exposed to the elements. Over time, the natural teak colour will also begin to fade away and the furniture will gradually weather to a soft, silver-grey. After the first few exposures to water, you should also expect the surface grain to rise slightly.
Under no circumstances should a power washer be used to clean teak furniture as this will erode the surface.
Protective covers are available for the outdoor lounge, to give protection to the table and minimise the level of maintenance. Use these covers during the winter months or periods of inclement weather.
