These period solid brass lantern designs have been taken from originals dating back to pre-Georgian Britain and are suitable for town and country homes alike.
The Mansion House in London is the Lord mayor's official residence which was built in the 1700's in the Palladian style. It is used for many state occasions and the venue for ann annual speech by the chancellor. Whilst not universally liked as a building, it does have some striking features and these gorgeous lights reflect that style.
All the lights are hand crafted.
The Antique Brass finish is then waxed for durability or given further treatment to achieve a variety of finishes from Polished Nickel, or Verdigris.
Also available in this collection is the Mansion House Outdoor Hanging Lanterns.
