Rhubarb Swiss Chard is super easy to grow and a great vegetable to have in the allotment or veggie plot. This variety has deep red green leaves and large red ribbed stems. You can cook the leaves like spinch by simply stewing and then tossing in butter.
Cook the leaves like spinach, then steam the stalks and toss in butter or add to 'Frittata' which is an Italian omelette style.
It can be almost grown as a perennial but for more delicate flavour and tender leaves better sown each season.
