This is the classic style Italian basil which can also be used for making pesto along with loads of other uses in the kitchen, including with tomatoes and mozzarella for a delicious antipasto salad.
It is a mid-early variety producing vigorous plants which will last all season unlike supermarket varieties.
This herb is ideal for the windowsill if you are struggling for outdoor space.
It is easy to grow and perfect for containers.

Sow from March to July either in pots or directly on the ground when the soil has warmed up.
Approximate seeds quantity: 4000 seeds.
Instructions are included on the back of the packets.
For the UK follow the blue for growing instructions: The sowing months are in Roman numerals are shown down the left side diagram and the approximate harvesting time shown on the right side of the diagram.
At the top of each packet there are diagrams showing whether a seed tray is needed or whether the seeds can be sown directly into soil, whether the plants need to be thinned and finally the harvesting months.

PLEASE NOTE - Due to Brexit related restrictions on certain items, unfortunately, we cannot at present send our seeds or kits containing seeds outside of mainland UK, (including Northern Ireland) without incurring huge additional costs. Whilst items can be added to the basket, if there is a location we cannot send to you will be advised at the basket stage when your delivery location is identified. The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
