The leaves on Borrage have a taste rather similar to cucumber and it can be used as a decorative herb in salads dishes.
Of course the delightful thing with barrage is the flowers on the plant are edible and look fabulous frozen in ice cubes then dropped into gin and tonic, Pimms and summer punches
Borrage is an annual plant with fast growing leaves which should be used fresh, but dried leaves and flowers can be also used in herbal teas.
