The wonderful Butternut squash rugosa, this Autumn squash will store well. With a slightly scalloped skin but bags of flavour. You can use to make winter soups, or roast it and then scoop out the fish and mash and serve with butter and nutmeg. Perfect to roast in a large roasting tray with other root vegetables such as beetroot, onions and cauliflower.

Sow indoors from February to May in pots and containers.
Then put outdoors in vegetable bed or large container in late May /June when the soil and temperature have warmed up.

PLEASE NOTE - Due to Brexit related restrictions on certain items, unfortunately, we cannot at present send our seeds or kits containing seeds outside of mainland UK, (including Northern Ireland) without incurring huge additional costs. Whilst items can be added to the basket, if there is a location we cannot send to you will be advised at the basket stage when your delivery location is identified. The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
