These are delicious and dramatic courgettes, with long curved fruits with a bulbous end. the skin is smooth with a cream tasty flesh. They are perfect cooked or used when small in salads.
This variety is from Liguria in the alpine North of Italy, and Squash Tromba D'Albenga variety has boomed in popularity in the last few years because it is easy to grow and still tasty.
They are great climbers so you can trail them up a fence or over an arch allowing the plant to grow upwards rather than using up valuable ground space in the garden, and giving some wonderful height to your vegetable garden.

Sow indoors from February to May in pots and containers.
Then put outdoors in vegetable bed or large container in late May /June when the soil and temperature have warmed up.
Trailing growing habit, we recommending training over sturdy arbours or arches.
