Delivery Delays

Back to Delivery FAQ's

Royal Mail

For further up to date information see the Royal Mail website. They are currently reporting:

'We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive.'

Their website details the offices currently affected at post code level and also any sending issues. We send our mail from Nottingham so any delay there may have a impact for onward delivery, but we monitor this obviously.

Our current Royal Mail despatches do not allow for tracking until the goods have been delivered but there is a very low incidence of lost mail with most issues either relating to delays detailed above or incorrectly addressed parcels.  Please use our address look-up service at the checkout to ensure the correct delivery address, particularly if sending to an address that is not your own.
