This heritage variety of Broccoli is from Calabria area of Italy, it is a compact plant had will have several lateral sprouts. With a lovely delicate flavour and deep green florets, this broccoli is ideal for steaming and serving with fish or meat alike.
Smaller florets will grow back after harvesting to prolong the season.
This brassica is from Southern Italy is an excellent variety and is resistant to the cold.

Start the seeds in a seed tray in early Spring in a warm light spot, once you have small plants then they can be transplanted directly into ground from May to July. Or sown directly into the soil from May to July.
Approximate seeds quantity: 1800 seeds.
Instructions are included on the back of the packets.
For the UK follow the blue for growing instructions: The sowing months are in Roman numerals are shown down the left side diagram and the approximate harvesting time shown on the right side of the diagram.
At the top of each packet there are diagrams showing whether a seed tray is needed or whether the seeds can be sown directly into soil, whether the plants need to be thinned and finally the harvesting months.

The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
