Cavolo Nero is a must for the vegetable plot, otherwise know as Black Tuscan Cabbage. It is easy to grow and has wonderful leaves rather like the 'Prince of Wales' feathers. The green leaves are used to make the Florentine National dish called 'Ribollita Toscana', which is a delicious soup made from stale bread, tomatoes, white beans and Cavolo Nero. Or our favourite is to simply pan fry it with olive oil, pancetta or bacon, and garlic. It looks equally stunning in the border as an edible!

PLEASE NOTE - Due to Brexit related restrictions on certain items, unfortunately, we cannot at present send our seeds or kits containing seeds outside of mainland UK, (including Northern Ireland) without incurring huge additional costs. Whilst items can be added to the basket, if there is a location we cannot send to you will be advised at the basket stage when your delivery location is identified. The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
