Simply press wet compost into the base of the blocker - imagine you are making sand castles - smooth off any loose soil, press the handle down into a seedling tray and you have ready made seedling pots each with an indentation to drop the seed into.

The soil block makers provide a high rate of germination and easy blooming; by providing indentations for seed sowing, they eliminate pricking out and prevent root shock.
