Fresh herbs ready to pick
Italian Basil -classic style Italian basil which can also be used for making pesto along with loads of other uses in the kitchen.
Flat leaf Parsley - This variety has big leaves which grow back again stronger after cutting. It is an absolute must in the kitchen and a 'superior' gastronomic variety which is typical of the Naples region.
Coriander - easy to grow annual, and is also ideal for growing indoors. This very popular herb has many culinary uses: the coriander seeds which can be used in curries and soups or using the leaves, rather like parsley, with its strong flavour as a seasoning for meats and salads.
Chive - useful and handy herb to have to hand in the kitchen. Use as a garnish on new potatoes with lots of melted butter!
Tarragon - a perennial plant which is easy to grow in either pots or a herb garden. It has a lovely lemony, aniseed flavour, the leaves are delicious used with fish or chicken dishes.
