These onions are big and golden and hail from the Milan area of Italy. The onions are a slightly egg shaped onion rather than fully round, They are excellent for storing, in a cool dark place.
Sow the seeds thinly and then thin out any seeds in the Spring. They are best grown in moisture retentive soil and in full sun. When te leaves yellow and droop this is a sign they are ready for harvest.
