This Purple Basil is a mid-early variety. The leaves have a gorgeous deep purple colour and a sweet fragrance. With a flavour similar to the green variety you see in every supermarket, purple basil is a distinctive alternative that will never fail to pique your guests interests with its unique and vibrant shades.
The basil is sweeter tasting than standard green Italian basil and has slight clove undertone.
