This black salsify is a late variety which produces long roots around 30cm long with white, tasty flesh on the inside.
Peel and treat like a root vegetables such as carrots.
Perfect to add to casseroles and winter stews.
Very popular in Northern France and Italy during the winter months.

The situation regarding Northern Ireland may improve in September 2024 following the implementation of the Windsor Protocol. Don't blame us we didn't vote for it!
